A New Face for Stringfisher
It’s been a whirlwind of activity here at Stringfisher HQ over the past fortnight. We’ve taken a deep dive into the world of video production, and the results? Well, they’re something to shout about.
The Stringfisher website has undergone a radical transformation, now boasting 10 (or is it 11?) brand new videos on the homepage. Each one is a bite-sized gem, clocking in at around a minute long, and they’ve been shared far and wide across the Stringfisher social media platforms.
Not Just Videos, But Art
These aren’t your run-of-the-mill adverts or music videos. They’re not strictly art pieces either. Yet, in their unique way, they encapsulate elements of all these formats. They’re a testament to the creative spirit of Stringfisher, a blend of indie, dream pop, and shoegaze, with a dash of industrial and post punk influences.
Creating these videos has been a labour of love, and while they’ve consumed a fair chunk of time, they’ve been an absolute blast to make.
The Creative Itch: Stringfisher’s Next Chapter
As the dust settles on this video production frenzy, the familiar creative itch is starting to make its presence felt. It’s a cycle known all too well here at Stringfisher. A new concept for a music structure takes root, scribbles of structure ideas and snippets of lyrics start to fill notebooks, and the mind begins to wander off to unexplored musical territories.
So, if the Stringfisher socials go a bit quiet, don’t fret. I’m hatching plans and experimenting with new ways to capture sound.
Help Shape the Stringfisher Sound
In the meantime, we have a small favour to ask of our Spotify listeners. If you could give this playlist a spin, you’ll be helping to train the algorithm to understand the unique Stringfisher sound:
Remember, be excellent to each other.
Yours in music,
Nak
