Who is Stringfisher?
Stringfisher is a solo experimental music and visual art project by Nak. Originating in Southport, England and now based in Reykjavík, Iceland, the project combines electronic music, found sound, analogue textures and interactive digital experiences.
The route here ran from singing in the grunge band Not to making electronic music with a Roland MC-303 and an Amiga 500. A second-hand ukulele brought the strings into the picture. Stringfisher grew from bringing those worlds together.
The artwork is part of the same conversation: a visual world for the music to live in.
